Beretta's 686 Silver Pigeon I is an over/under field shotgun in 12 gauge, with 28-inch vent rib barrels, removable chokes and 3-inch chambers. The barrels are blued, the receiver is stainless steel with floral engraving, and the stock is checkered wood with an oil finish. Five additional chokes come with it, and the supplier lists it as new, SKU D2026-01687.
An engraved over/under is usually bought for the field and the clay course, and the choke set lets you tune each barrel to the shot you expect. In Illinois a 12 gauge with 3-inch chambers also qualifies as a deer gun when loaded with slugs, so it can go out for the November 20 to 22 and December 3 to 6 firearm seasons on a county permit from the IDNR lottery. Most owners will keep it for birds and clays and let a plainer gun take the slugs, but the option is there.
