Mossberg's 835 Ulti-Mag listed here is a modern-production 12 gauge pump field shotgun, serial UM407318, with a 28-inch vent rib barrel, a 3.5-inch chamber and a screw-in choke. The synthetic stock and forend carry a camo painted finish, and length of pull runs 14.75 inches to a Kick-Eez pad with a spacer. The supplier describes light wear on the finish, good solid condition overall and an excellent bore.

This is a working Illinois field gun. With slugs it is legal for the state's firearm deer seasons, November 20 to 22 and December 3 to 6, 2026, and the muzzleloader-only season of December 11 to 13 is the one stretch it stays home. Apply for your county permit through the IDNR lottery and check for leftover permits after the draws. The painted camo already shows some use, so there is no reason to baby it in the brush, and the Kick-Eez pad and spacer set the length for a taller shooter or heavy winter clothing.
