A Smith & Wesson .32 Safety Hammerless, Third Model, serial 183895, made around 1910 to 1912 and chambered in .32 S&W with a 2-inch round barrel. The nickel finish is in near excellent condition, the bore is bright with handsome rifling and the mother-of-pearl grips rate excellent. The action indexes correctly and locks up tight. It comes in its original box, with a later cleaning kit added, and is sold on consignment under SKU PR66299.
Known as the bicycle gun, this is a collector's revolver for an Illinois buyer rather than a working handgun, and the original box with pearl grips and bright nickel is what gives this example its appeal. The condition notes are the supplier's: near excellent nickel, excellent grips, correct indexing and a tight lockup, with the only later addition being the cleaning kit in the box. For a shelf of early Smith & Wesson pocket revolvers, a boxed Third Model in this state fills a gap.
