This Smith & Wesson Model 10 is a 1960-production revolver, serial number C460044, in .38 Special with a 5-inch barrel. It is an original no-dash, four-screw gun in nickel finish, fitted with custom grips of aged stag. The metal is very good with light wear to the nickel, and the stag grips sit well on the gun.

A 5-inch Model 10 is a full-size .38 Special, so for an Illinois owner it fits range sessions and home defense more naturally than concealed carry, and the no-dash four-screw frame gives it collector interest on top. Nickel with light honest wear means it can be shot without worrying about a pristine surface. Handguns are sold from age 21 at the dealer, with the FOID check and 72-hour hold in place before it leaves the shop.
