The Kimber 2K11 Comp is a single-action-only, double-stack 2011-pattern pistol in 9mm with a 5-inch barrel and an integral compensator. The slide is optics ready with lightening cuts, sights are a fiber-optic front and adjustable rear, and the frame adds an ambidextrous thumb safety, an accessory rail and a flared magwell. Finish is black DLC over a black Kimber polymer grip module. One 17-round and two 20-round magazines ship with it, new, SKU NGZ7109.
This is built for the Illinois competition shooter and the range regular. The compensator, flared magwell and adjustable sights are match features, and the rail and optics cut mean a light and a dot bolt straight on. Three magazines out of the box get you through a stage without borrowing. The ambidextrous safety suits left-handed shooters. It works as a home-defense pistol too, though the compensated 5-inch slide is more pistol than most people want to carry around the house every day.
