This US Model 1917 bolo was made by Plumb and is offered in very good condition with its scabbard. It is cataloged under bayonets as SKU MEW1945 and sold as a used piece. The listing is brief and gives no further markings or measurements, so the three stated facts, the Plumb manufacture, the very good condition and the presence of the scabbard, are what you are buying, with the photos serving as the detailed record.

For an Illinois collector building a run of US military blades, a Model 1917 with its scabbard present is the configuration to look for, because a complete set saves hunting for a matching scabbard later. Very good condition on a used service blade means an honest piece rather than a mint one, so expect handling marks consistent with that grade. This is a display and reference piece sold as described, so compare the scabbard fit and finish against the photos before deciding.
