An unopened box of 50 Winchester .32 S&W blank cartridges, centerfire primed. Blanks carry no projectile, and this box is sold as used in the sense of being vintage stock, though the supplier states it has never been opened. No date, box style or lot is given beyond the Winchester name and the .32 S&W marking.

An unopened Winchester blank box is an Illinois cartridge collector's item first, valued precisely because it has not been opened; opening it removes most of what makes it worth having. Blanks of this kind are associated with starter pistols, training and stage work, and an owner of an old .32 S&W blank pistol may want a period box to go with it. Store the box flat and dry, and photograph the label before shelving so you have a record of the condition it arrived in.
