The Sako 90S Hunter is a bolt-action hunting rifle, and this one is the left-hand version chambered in .243 Win. It carries a 22.4-inch barrel threaded 5/8x24 at the muzzle, a checkered walnut stock and a Sako Optilock mount for scope rings. The rifle is new.

Left-handed shooters get a true left-hand bolt here rather than an adapted right-hand action. For Illinois owners it is worth knowing that the state's firearm deer seasons allow single-shot centerfire rifles only at .30 caliber and up, so a .243 bolt gun is a range and travel rifle in this state rather than a deer gun for the November and December seasons. The Optilock mount is ready for your scope, the threaded muzzle takes a brake or other muzzle device, and the walnut stock is the traditional choice for a rifle that will be carried as much as shot.
